Hi lushies!

Finally got my 25:43 perfume!!! It is sooooo great!  Trying it on my wrist made me fall in love with the scent: hot bright summer day first with all this lemongrass smell, and then a warm summer evening cuddling with your loved one.and watching the sun set  vanilla smell. I know it is more images, but that is what it makes me think of!!
Now, I have it, I actually love it more! You know how when you put a nice perfume on, and after a while, you can't smell it anymore? Well, with 25:43 it is not like that! You will smell it all day long and I personally love this!!!

The perfect mix!

Hey Lushies,

So here is my perfect mix for washing my super oily hair! Just so you know, my hair are so oily, I would have to wash them everyday using most shampoos! I don't because it would damage them!

But Friday, I went to lush, and decided to try a shampoo I had seen on the lush times: I Love Juicy! And because of a friend, as you probably already know if you have read the previous posts, I also tried American cream!

Well, about I Love Juicy first! When you use it, you don't need to put too much in your hair! And then clean your hair, it smells like you are in a tropical fruit salad! Smells really nice, you travel in Asia thanks to your shampoo! And for cleaning your hair, its GREAT!
It's meant to be for very dirty hair, and the ingredients help to dissolve the dirt and the grease! It is said that if you use a lot of products on your hair and every once in a while you want to get rid of all theresidues on your hair, this is the ideal shampoo!
I have to say, for oily hair, it is just perfect! Now, I can wash my hair one morning, and the next, my hair will still look gorgeous and clean!

To this, you just add a bit of American Cream, and your hair will be really clean, perfectly conditionned, smelling great for 2 days!!

A million kisses!

Hi Lushies!

Me again! It's saturday, meaning I have time write a few articles :)!

Now, I will talk about a brilliant, beautiful liptint: A million Kisses!

I had seen it on the Lush Preston staff, it looked really nice on them, made me like it instantly! ALso, I like wearing red lipstick! So I thought to myself, I have GOT to get myself A million Kisses! And I did, I got mine yesterday, which I plan to always carry in my bag!

It is a beautiful red tint, just like on the picture, the same shade, but on your lips! I like the fact that it doesn't feel sticky, not like lipgloss are some of the lipsticks I have! And the color is great, it's red, going a little on pink! Just great! I love it!

So girls, get ready to kiss with a million kisses!

Ashley's Special

Hi Lushies,

This article is a bit special, it is a promise I have made to a friend who just left the UK to fly home to California, and she asked me I talked about her when writing the article on American cream! Why? Because she is the one who told me about it, it is a product that represents her very well, and she uses it all the time!

So lushies, I want to thank Ashley for telling me about American cream, and now, everytime I will use it or smell it, I will think of you. But well, talking about friends is great, but I'm guessing you all want to know what American Cream is, and if it's any good!

Luckily, I got to try it, and believe me Lushies, I know why Ashley introduced it to me!

First things first: What is it?

It is a conditionner! It's a thick, silky conditionner! I love how it feels when you have it in your hands, like a creamy milkshake!!

Why is it so great?

Go into your nearest lush shop, open a bottle, take a snif, and you'll understand! The smell is GREAT! Vanilla, strawberry! Smells really good! And this lovely smell does not wear off like industrial conditionners! Your hait will smell of vanilla and strawberry for at least a day!
Also, it leaves you hair really soft and shiny and nice!

Lush Preston Valentine's launching party!

Hi Lushies!

In this article, I want to tell you about the Valentine's launching party that took place yesterday in Lush Preston!

It was a special day yesterday, as it was also the last evening I got to spend with a dear friend who went home to California this morning!

So what was so great about this event? Lush was open later :)! Drinkies and sweets for everyone! Massages to try the massage bars! It was also a great reason to go into Lush! And of course, we got to see the new valentine's day special products! Yay!

What I love about the lush shop is that you're not yet inside that you already have wonderful smells in the street!

What's in stock for valentine's day this year? A lot of things! I did not get to try them all, but I can tell you this: they look and smell great! I will talk in more details in a later article about the wonderful new liptint: a million kisses!

One disapointment though: the new 25:43 perfume has yet to be launched :(! Honestly lushies, I have had the chance to try it, and it is ADDICTIVE! My 2 friends who came to the launching party with me would agree! After we put it on, we couldn't stop smelling our wrist! And everytime, it had different notes to it! It starts with a wonderful sunny summer fruity smell (I am trying to describe as best I can), and then you have notes of warm beach days with the vanilla smell! It smells so good, if you try it, you might fall in love with it! And for the little story of the name, I was told that 25:43 represents the time it took Mark to invent it: 25minutes and 43 seconds.

But here is what I'll remember of that night: a great night with friends, full of wonderful products, and a whole in my budget (but who cares when it is for buying great lush products!)!

Toothy tabs

Hello lush fans,

Over the next few weeks, I will try for you a new lush invention: the toothy tabs! Just remember to regularly check this article to see the updates on the different toothy tabs!

I have tried sparkle!

It was the first one I tried, and honestly, on the first try, it is quite a weird sensation! You first have to chew on your tab (with front teeth or back teeth, I personally prefer back teeth), but don't swallow. I was really afraid of having goon my tongue, probably because I was afraid of the taste. Finally, It went well. So when You have chewed your tab, wet your toothbrush, and get brushing as you usually do! Personally, I quite enjoyed this one, I found my teeth a bit whiter after using it, but what I liked most of all is the warmth on your tongue you get from the black Pepper! Of course, not everyone would like it, but I did.





I also had the opportunity to try Ultrablast.

Now lushies, I have to admit, I was a little bit disappointed by this one! I expected this very strong taste, since it has wasabi in it, but it never came! However, the taste set aside, it is still a nice toothy tab, leaves your teeth really clean!



I have learned today (february 10) that the formula for the toothy tabs will soon be changed, Lush will use one different ingredient: sorbitol! This will make your tabs a bit soft, easier to chew on (I did find that they were sometimes a bit hard to chew on), and foam more. It is already in Chou Chou I love you, for those who already tried it! It will also make the taste stronger! Can't wait!!!

Soft hands

Hello Lush fans,

Now, I would like to present 2 products that will make your hands soft and lovely.

Helping Hands

This is the first hand cream I tried from Lush! I find the smell a little bit weird, though quite pleasant! It is made for dry hands, which, lets face it, happens quite often during winter! It also is great for nurses and people that have over-washed hands! The honey inside wil moisturize and sooth your hands and crackings.
When you put it on, you feel almost immediately that your hands' skin is softer and gets moisturize. I have used all over this summer for a very good reason! With my boyfriend, we moved in a house which needed a lot of work and a LOT of washing! I used a very agressive cleaning powder, and had my hands in the water for hours during 2 days. After only a day, my hands were very dry and cracked, so I decided to use helping hands a few times a day. It really soothed my hands, and made the skin softer every time I used it! It was perfect! Of course, after 2 days, I started to use gloves so as to stop damaging my hands, but I kept on using Helping Hands, 'cause I loved it!

Tiny Hands Solid Hand cream 

This is part of my Xmas present (thanks mom!)!
It may look like its a soap, but no, this is a hand cream! The first thing I loved about this hand cream is that it is solid, no packaging means its better for the environment :)! Then I smelled, and it smells gorgeous, a floral scent with a hint of lime! Love it! I like leaving it on my drawer so that my room smells just as good!
So how do you use it? Easy, you melt it in your hands, and then you use it as your usual cream!
It is really great to moisturize dry skin, and this winter, I have been using it ever since I received it! Plus, the floral scent makes you think of the warmer days of spring! Because there is a lot of oils in it, I find my hands a bit greasy when I first use it, but soon after I am done (give 1-2min), the talc in the hand cream plays its part, and my hands just feel moisturized!
Also, being solid, this handcream has no preservatives so it is "kinder on your hands and safer on broken skin." says lush!
