Emotional Brilliance

Hiya Lushies!

Hope you are all well! I, personally, am great! I have just moved back to France!

When I first arrived home, I thought "Oh no, no Lush shop close to where I live :'(" But this week, loads of great news. The first one is especially for the Lushies in France, and more specifically in the Loiret, as it was the grand opening of a shop in Orléans! The staff seems really nice, and although they are really packed with clients, they were very helpful! (not surprising ;-) ) For those interested it is on the "rue de la republique"!

But now, on to the news that will get you all really interested! Today was the international launch of Emotional Brilliance! You have been wondering, and waiting to see what it is, now we know: it is an awesome make up range!

Many products were launched: new colours to tint the skin, some powder, mascara, eyeliners, eyeshadows and lipsticks! With loads of colours, all more beautiful than the other!

It is based on colours showing some aspects of your personality, and you wear them depending on your state of mind, not to go with your outfit.

How does it work?

First, you spin the wheel, where all colours are displayed. Then you choose the first 3 colours that catch your eyes, not because it is your favourite colour, or because you think it would go great with that gorgeous new dress you just got, but because the colour really caught you eye!

The first colour will represent your strength/weakness, then the second one will represent what your subconcious wants/needs, and the third colour represents what you need to achieve your subconscious needs!

My reading was as follow: Charm was my strength, my subconscious needed to lead, and to do this I would do it with happiness!

I ended up getting only happiness, the golden cream eyeshadow (I will try other products later, and will let you know how they go!) I love the colour, it can be used to go out when used not rubbed into your skin (top line on my hand on the picture), or everyday if you rub it in (bottom line). It dries rather quickly, the pigment is very deep, and the colour stays for a really long time!

I heard the cream shadows can also be used as lipsticks and lipsticks as shadows!

The only negative point is the price, as it is quite expensive to buy! But as always, you can be sure of what you put on your skin/eyes! All we need to check now is how long it lasts, but I am sure it lasts a really long time!

If I were you Lushies, I would run to the closest shop to get my own reading (although you can have your reading done on the lush website) and then get my own emotional brilliance product(s)

Enjoy Lushies!
